Regarding Surveys, Add-Ons...

We will be using Backerkit for pin-selecting surveys
Good news! For more usable surveys/ensuring add-ons are easy to select, we will be using backerkit. I want the best possible user experience for everyone as we wrap up the campaign and do surveys.
In backerkit, you will be able to add additional funds for add-on items later (when you take the survey), so there is no need to worry too much right this second about all that.
I will show an example of what the process looks like (this example is from my egg kitties campaign, which used backerkit for surveys as well. A major thing that's nice about this survey system is that there are pictures along side the choices so that they are very clear (no mix ups with endless lists of options only listed as text, or mixups about color schemes).
In Step 1, you choose your rewards options (i.e. the design/color scheme) be it for pins, standees, etc
Next, you can pick out add-ons. In this example, I pledged $5 extra, and this is reflected as "Remaining Credit" which I can use to get add-ons!
Let's say I had $5 extra, but I decided that I want a $12 pin -- no problem! Backerkit will take payment so you can add funds easily in case you want something else.
And that's pretty much it! It's pretty straightforward.

Zine Prototypes!
I went ahead with my making my zines. I am so proud/happy with how they are coming together. It was a lot of work to figure out how to get these just right (printing alignment etc), but now they look amazing! I have some cute iconography and I like the visual style. There are also going to be some sketches from my notebooks as a bonus in these zines.
There are 4 per set.
Mini Print Prototypes
Here are some 5x5 mini prints. I've had some people express interest in the posts I've done on instagram featuring the artwork + funny flavor text... so here's a taste of that! They will be printed on a nice thick matte stock and will have rounded corners.

New Monster Girl Reveal

Are you Ready for this? Meet the Carnivorous Plant.
I know I said I was just going to do one more monster girl when I designed the Lich, but I can't stop myself. Carnivorous plant was the 2nd place winner in the poll, so I started entertaining the idea of designing her after all. After days of researching/sketching/re-sketching, I finally settled on a plant girl that I liked! She is up for pledging now. Do you like this design? Please let me know!

Designer's Notes: I personally love it and think it's funny as heck -- I mean, look at her innocent face juxtaposed with those bones! Oh... so many bones D: The nectar is a reference to how pitcher plants (and others) lure prey; I also added pretty little polkadots on her petals that are also actually skulls (kind of like how some animals give visual indication with color/shape that they are dangerous). I spent way too long coming up with these plant puns on the preview images and I really hope someone laughs at them.
Fun flavor text (pun intended): She lives on the floor of the darkest parts of magical forests where light hardly shines. Like other carnivorous plants, she has evolved a number of interesting adaptations to overcome her environment. She has developed sweet nectar that exponentially grows more noxious as proximity increases. This substance lures in prey big and small, and then debilitates them or even puts them to sleep. No one has seen what lies under those flower petals, but botanists believe there is a large mouth of some kind. If you dare approach, wear a gas mask and ensure your wits are about you.
Regarding Add-ons Upcoming:
Zines are still a work in progress, but there is going to be lots of fun stuff in there, including some drawings from my sketchbook for a behind the scenes bonus. Additionally, there are going to be 4 in a set instead of just 3 (because we added another monster girl -- I figure 4 each will be good). Each booklet will be separated by the monster's diet: 1. Herbivores, 2. Omnivores, 3. Carnivores, and 4. Other-vores (that's right, OTHER-VORES, because I can't find a word outside of the 3 most common ones that encompasses magical diets -- it will be reserved for monsters who don't eat, or those who subsist on things like souls and other weird stuff!) I am excited for these needless to say.
As soon as the zines are done, the poster will follow (it will use the same visual organization/hierarchy to keep the products tied together).

Sketchbook Prototypes

Hello Everyone,
One of the add-ons I thought of adding included sketch books -- well, here they are! I am still tweaking the color balance of the covers so they are *perfect*, but these turned out alright enough that I want to show them! :)
One big feature I am considering adding that I didn't preview in my first prototype is personalization-- Adding your Name/Artist Alias to the cover! Wouldn't that be cool? Let me know if you want this to be an option via the comments.
98 pages thick, full color cover with a simple pattern background. The texture is felt-like.
Front and back cover can be customized -- so you can enjoy two of your favorites!
Paper inside is blank and unlined
I will be adding these to the add-ons on the main page shortly. They will be $12 each (they will be $15 on my shop after this campaign), and for backers only personalization will be FREE if I get feedback that that is desired.

Upcoming Add-Ons + Plug

Add-Ons...
A couple of updates ago, I ran an add-ons interest poll. From that poll, I have determined there are a couple of things I will be adding to the add-ons in the coming couple of days (because people said they would want them). Most of these are items I will produce myself, so I am determined to show prototypes soon as well.
1. Set of 3 Mini Full Color Zines (featuring ALL 15 monsters + descriptions and lore) - I am in the middle of constructing these now. I have a high quality photo printer, so these zines will be of relatively high quality.
2. Sketchbook, black spine - 7.75" x 5.375" - I will show this one as soon as I create a sample. The Cover will have a felty finish that will be full color. Just waiting on a special ink set for making this. :)
3. Poster Print - Prints were requested a number of times, so I thought why not make it a full scale A3 sized print. This will feature all of the monster girls so you can enjoy all of them! It will kind of be like an atlas (is that the right word?)
On the fence about a 16th design...
Behind the scenes, I have been sketching a carnivorous plant girl (this was 2nd place in the poll). I haven't nailed down the design yet and have still not determined if this will be added -- with 15 pins already + pastel variants, I am producing 30 different varieties which is A LOT. I will try to show a mock-up before campaign end however, and if there is enough interest in it, I will add it as an actual design.
